 What I ended up doing: Currently studying a Level 3 apprenticeship in business administration (working for a financial planning firm)
How I got here: I finished my A-levels in summer 2022 and I knew I didn’t want to go to university, so I did some research and applied for an apprenticeship using the gov.uk website. I had an interest in financial services which is why I applied for my current job. I went for the interview and was offered the job the same day.
Most useful skill or character trait for my job:Â Confidence, especially when communicating with others.
Top tip! Never stop learning, stay curious and seek knowledge outside of the classroom to find your passions. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet, but by exploring different options, you will find it much easier!
