 What I ended up doing: Owning my own hair and beauty salon.
How I got here: I studied for two years in beauty at York College then found a part-time job alongside studying part-time at college for a further two years to do hairdressing. I worked for someone else for five years then decided to open my own salon.
Most useful skill or character trait for my job: Social skills, maths.
