How I got here: I did various jobs, however I did an apprenticeship to get into software testing. It’s the best thing I ever did, I wish I’d done IT straight from school.
Most useful skill or character trait for my job: Thinking outside the box, good attention to detail.
Top tip! Find a job/role that interests you, don’t just follow your friends or do what you think you should (e.g childcare, just because you’re female).
